Cool Water Text Effect in Adobe Flash 8 |

In this tutorial we’ll learn how to create a cool water text effect for Adobe Flash 8 using Mask and Motion Tween.
Make a new Flash document with the following properties: Size 550x400 pixels, Background #000066. Now import a water picture having 550x150 dimensions or use the one below using File >> Import >> Import to Stage or CTRL+R:
Assure that the picture has the coordinates X:0, Y:0. Now copy again this picture on the stage and put to the copy the coordinates X:550, Y:0. Select the two picture and press CTRL+G to group them. Now let’s create a motion tween for the water! Go to the frame 100 of the first layer and press F6 to introduce a new keyframe. Go on top of the frames between 1 and 100, right click and choose Create Motion Tween. In the frame 100 set the coordinates of the picture to X:-550, Y:0
Now insert a new layer and name it water. Right click on water layer and choose Mask. In the first frame of water layer insert a text field with some text in it like “Tutorial5” with the following properties: Font: Impact, size 125.
Now test the movie CTRL+Enter and see the result:

uptill now everthing is very well and these things are described in very lucid manner i aapreciate your work . But now i m looking for the action script (coding part) as i m very untouched to this part so please help me out if u can ..because i think that after using action script i'll be able to make much more effective flash . thanks in advance .. :)

hi there. thanks for your great tutorial. as i am only a beginner i need some help on creating a photo gallery in which when the next or previous button is pressed the photos alpha is 0 to begin with and slowly turns to 100. i would really appreciate your help. thankyou.
