Asustek Computer just announced their newest product for mobile users.
Now this is a great machine but you should also consider the amazing

The company, which sells their products under the ASUS brand, will make public their latest product on 7th of March in Taiwan.

It's a notebook that uses LEDs (light emitting diodes) for their LCD display instead of the classic CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp). This will greatly improve the quality of the display and reduces battery usage, increasing mobility. This new technology made possible to install a 0.5mm thick display, thinner than any in his class.

This technology was not implemented before for mobile devices since it's cost is estimated to be three times bigger than the classic CCFL.

By implementing LEDs in more and more products, they managed to lower the costs to an acceptable level, making the notebook affordable.

Besides this, the laptop will be equipped with a Centrino COre Duo processor, 80Gb of harddisk storage space and a Combo unit that supports Blu-ray disks.

For the connectivity it offers bluetooth services and a Wi-Fi Internet Connection.
